Ghost, stories and ghost stories
How can you tell it's January? A robin is belting out its song over the wind rattling the bare ash branches. Caper is curled up in a bean bag and reluctant to leave the house. I'm putting together another iteration of my website. All statistically regular occurrences in the New Year according to my almanack.
On the digital front, I'm giving Ghost a go. It's an open source platform that's apparently particularly suited to publishing and not funded by tech bros. I'm hoping to get a few more blog posts out and keep people updated via the odd newsletter. If it works out there's plenty of potential to expand into exciting things, like offering exclusive content.
Outside, I've promised myself this is 'the garden year' so we'll see how that shapes up. I've also been 'casting the runes' as my friend called it; planning a few getaways and research trips for a little project. I really like that phrase and having looked it up, I now want to read the namesake MR James story.
